Complementary In service and
Medical Education
Educational Programs

Alliance Medical Team commitment of achieving success stems from hard work and extensive education is the solution of transforming facilities into triumphant entities. Our organization boasts some of the best consultants in various fields to enhance patient care as well as providing a wide range of support in multiple areas in ancillary services. We offer extensive and free education programs aimed at improving care and reducing hospital readmission rates.

Neurology Education

A significant portion of hospital readmissions is due to patient falls, therefore establishing a neurological baseline is essential in healthcare. Alliance Medical Team offers a training program for nursing staff that focuses on recognizing early functional deterioration, assessing fall risk, post-fall evaluation, and frequent neuro-checks. In these training programs, Alliance Medical Team will help the staff understand the differences between a stroke, transient ischemic attack, Parkinson’s disease and dementia.

Wound Care Program

In this program, Alliance Medical Team aims to enlighten nursing staff on proper wound care and pressure ulcer prevention. This educational teaching is made for non-proficient nurses and it does not contradict any other medical team services, therefore empowers them to deliver high quality wound therapy on their patients.

Urology Education

A significant portion of patient admissions into healthcare facilities are mainly due to urinary retention, trauma related to Foley catheters, and issues with superpubic catheters. Alliance Medical Team has implemented an intensive in-service education program that addresses these complications. The urology team provides this free training in person to all staff. This in person training covers topics as to urinary retention, catheter placement, trauma management and catheter-associated urinary tract infection.

Communication Skills and SBAR Reporting Education

In healthcare, communication is one of the most important skill that medical staff have in their professional career. Alliance Medical Team will educate about the importance of effective communication because it can minimize errors, enhance transmission of information, and save time during critical situations. We offer SBAR reporting education which is a structured program to improve communication among nursing staff and providers. These education programs are provided to all staff at no cost.

Pre and Post Operative Patient Care

Alliance Medical Team training is provided by first-class medical professionals in their field. In post-acute facilities many of the patients need surgery to maintain an active life. Our team offers a training program specialized in pre and post-operative patient care. These teachings aim to improve the patient’s health outcomes and minimize their chances of being readmitted back into a hospital.
